Just tweeted about this as one of my fave summer drinks today in response to @thehypercube’s Question of the day. Totally tasty – and you can try your own variants.
Ingredients:
7 cups Water 2 cups white sugar 2 cups water 4 tea bags (black or orange pekoe) 1 12 oz can frozen orange juice thawed 2-3 cups of rum or brandy (or vodka or gin) Mix: Ginger Ale (sprite, 7up or sparkling lemonade work good too)
Instructions (pretty easy – just need time to freeze it up – 24 hours or so)
Boil the 7 cups or water and dissolve the 2 cups sugar. Cool. Put in an ice cream pail...

Gawd. Did as much as I could and it still didn’t seem like enough. Man. Some killer involvement by all contenders!
So, what did I do to give it my best shot:
Signed up a profile – and took my sweet time doing so (so much so that I thought I procrastinated so much that I was already disqualified – and THEN ALAS I GOT THE INVITATIONAL EMAIL to participate!) Woot! Step #1
I took some time trying to concoct some crazy ideas for my cube canvas – and got all my links together (got my social networking all ready to go) and started pestering my pals to support me...

Love the concepts she connects – information architecture and musical composition. I am not musically as capable as this – but I can readily understand the connections being an interactive project manager and classical guitarist.

If he wants to suggest to his family that he doesn’t think they should be cruising around in confined commuting arrangements for fear of flu infection – then I’m pretty sure he’s entitled to suggest that.
Such a big deal is being made about him fear-mongering and shooting off comments unchecked – whatever.
Yes, he’s notoriously classic about his gaffes (you don’t have Google too much to find all the top 10, 20, 50, 100 Biden gaffes sites) – but I personally think it’s refreshing that he’s being truthful/open about his feelings. Would you tell your kids, wife, parents...

I actually made it to the finals! So i am one of the 500 who is fighting to win a new vehicle (with 1 in 10 odds). Vote here for me: http://www.tinyurl.com/jpcube
Very cool contest set to really change the face of Social Media as a marketing/ communications vehicle. Brilliant tactics for harnessing the efforts of a virtual army of creative talent to bust their butts promoting your campaign (because it is in their best interests too!).
User generated content (via flash canvases – DIY design your own spaces on the hypercube.ca site), use of twitter (http://twitter.com/thehypercube)...
