It seems like trying to type on a flat screen has got some disadvantages. Almost like the laptop form factor was designed for a reason. There are lots of ideas for how to position your iPad for typing friendliness – Lifehacker even features a photo of an iPad user employing their cat as an iPad stand.
I think another approach might be to reconsider the keyboard. the device still looks to me like a lot of people will be holding it from the corners of the bezel when they are holding it (sadly I don’t own one, but would like to) – and if this assumption is correct, then maybe...
